Why should I attend?
Slack is the first product of its kind, empowering millions of global daily active users to communicate, collaborate, and create like never before. Come to build something amazing, stay to learn from some of the top industry professionals in the world, break in our beautiful new downtown San Francisco office, and have more fun than you’ve ever had in your whole entire life (we hope)!
Who is eligible to participate?
Anyone pursuing and currently enrolled in a a BS, MS, or PhD program in Computer Science or equivalent (recent bootcamp graduates welcome), who is employed at a full or part time internship at the time of the event.

Can I bring a friend?
Due to space limitations, we’re capping attendance for this year’s event at 150 total students. You are not guaranteed a spot after completing registration and your RSVP only includes you. If you’d like to invite friends, please encourage them to apply!
What will be provided onsite?
We’ll provide meals, snacks, beverages (LOTS of caffeine), swag, charging stations, working spaces, and goodies. We will not have loaner laptops available, so please bring your own!
What is the cost to attend? Will Slack reimburse my travel to the event?
Entrance to Slackathon is completely free! Given attendee volume, we will not be able to reimburse students for travel to the Bay Area. We hope to expand this to different cities in the future, so if you can't make this one, keep an eye out!
